Today, I want to share with you one of my all-time favorite recipes: Chef Sven’s Homemade Swedish Meatball Soup. This hearty and flavorful soup is the perfect comfort food for those chilly winter days. And the best part? It’s super easy to make! So grab your apron and let’s get cooking!

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, parsley, nutmeg, allspice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Roll the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Heat a large soup pot over medium heat and add the meatballs. Cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.
  4. Remove the meatballs from the pot and set aside.
  5. In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
  6. Gradually whisk in the beef broth, heavy cream, and Worcestershire sauce. Continue cooking until the mixture thickens, about 5 minutes.
  7. Return the meatballs to the pot and simmer for an additional 10 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.
