Today, I am going to share with you one of my all-time favorite recipes: Chef Sven’s Fantastic Swedish Pancakes. These pancakes are light, fluffy, and oh-so-delicious. They are perfect for breakfast, brunch, or even dessert. And the best part? They are super easy to make!
But before I share the recipe with you, let me tell you a little story. Back in my TV chef days, I used to make these pancakes for my fellow cast and crew members on set. They always requested them whenever we had early morning shoots or long days of filming. I remember one time, I made a huge batch of these pancakes for breakfast, and they disappeared within minutes. Everyone couldn’t get enough of them!
Now, let’s get down to the recipe. Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
And here’s how to make these fantastic Swedish pancakes:
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and melted butter.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, whisking until smooth and well combined.
